If you have priced out wedding cake tins you might have noticed these are considerably marked up too, and you may have trouble finding the sizes you need in stock.

I was horrified at how much the cake tins and equipment costed, but I ended up biting the bullet and getting my own set of tins anyway, because the rental options weren't that great at all.
I have decided to make my set of cake tins available to other people who may be in a similar situation - looking to bake their own cake and hire a set of wedding cake tins for a reasonable price. For a flat rate of $50 + freight, you get a set of 5 cake tins (6", 8", 10", 12" and 14") and can hold onto them for a week (let me know if you need longer). You may be unsure of exactly which size tins you need, or even if the big 14" tin will fit in your oven (it's a bit large for many household ovens). With this approach, you have more options, and can mix-and-match as required at no additional cost.
Bookings are made online, and a deposit/bond is required. Select the date when you need the tins, and we will arrange for them to be delivered by this date. You then have 7 days to use the tins, and another 3 days to return them to us by courier. Once we receive the tins back and are satisfied that they are clean and undamaged, we refund your deposit.
